Our Story

A region that shapes its own AI destiny

Founded in 2024 by regional AI leader Adrian Dunkley, the Caribbean AI Association was born from a profound conviction: the Caribbean must not merely receive AI, it must build, govern, and lead it.

Dunkley united the region's foremost practitioners, policymakers, and academics to form an association capable of representing the Caribbean's full diversity and ambition. From Kingston to Port of Spain, from Bridgetown to Nassau, CAIA is the home for every voice that believes this region's future is something we must build together.

We are not bystanders to the AI revolution. We are its architects.
